Beeson, Tayer & Bodine, a progressive 17-Attorney law firm that has advocated for unions, workers and benefit plans for over 75 years, currently has a position open in their Oakland office for an attorney with 3 to 6 years’ experience in labor and/or employment law. The firm’s practice includes all aspects of union-side labor and employment law including representing public and private sector unions, teachers, employee benefit plans, and individual employees.

Applicants must be currently admitted to the bar, although not necessarily in California. In addition to a strong academic background and superior writing and oral advocacy skills, applicants must have a demonstrated commitment to the labor movement. Spanish language skills are a plus.

Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes an excellent benefit package including employer-paid family medical/dental/vision, profit sharing, 401(k) match and commute assistance.
