• Carrillo et al., v. Kawahara Nurseries, Inc. (Santa Clara Superior Court, 2009) A sexual harassment suit was filed on behalf of six female nursery workers who alleged they had been sexually harassed by supervisors and co-workers, and that the company had failed to take corrective or protective measures to ensure their safety. The parties entered into a “mutually satisfactory,” confidential, settlement agreement prior to trial.
