Our Oakland office has a position open for an associate attorney whose practice will focus on representing individual members and local associations affiliated with the California Teachers Association, as well as other public sector employees. Applicants must have 2-10 years of experience and preferably be admitted to the California Bar. In addition to a strong academic background, superior writing, and oral advocacy skills, applicants must share our commitment to the labor movement and employment law.
Our Sacramento Office has a position open for an attorney with over two years’ experience. Again, applicants must be admitted to the bar, although not necessarily in California.
In addition to a strong academic background and superior writing and oral advocacy skills, applicants must share our commitment to the labor and worker’s rights movements. We welcome applicants with Union-related experience but have also hired attorneys with experience in plaintiffs’ employment law and/or public interest law. Applicants should have completed labor and employment law courses.
Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes an excellent benefit package including employer-paid family medical/dental/vision, profit sharing, 401(k) match, and commute assistance. Beeson, Tayer and Bodine is an equal opportunity employer and invites applicants from all backgrounds to apply.
